Newstead 2050 is a community development organisation, supporting diverse projects around the town. Much of the activity and decision making process happens within those projects. Membership of Newstead 2050
Membership is open to any member of the community who supports our aspirations. Please begin by reading our statement of purpose.
We welcome new members, particularly those with skills, energy and commitment to contribute. Please complete the membership application form. Click to read our rules.

Supporting your group or project
Newstead 2050 offers services and support to projects and groups in and around Newstead including

Advocacy
– writing letters of support for project grant applications
– joining delegations at local, state and federal government level where needed.
Financial
We help group or project finances by
– hosting project bank accounts
– ensuring expenditure is correctly approved
– ensuring grant money is correctly spent
– checking reports are completed.
Insurance
Our public liability, volunteers and directors insurance applies to all our projects.
Bookkeeping services
We can:
– track all account income and expenditure
– generate financial reports for projects
– arrange for finances to be audited.
